Canaccord analyst Joseph Vafi raised the price target on IREN Ltd. (NASDAQ: IREN) to $79.00 (from $70.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.

The analyst commented: "Updating DCF for the MSFT project: upping our estimated value per share from ~$21 to ~$30 and subsequently our price target from $70 to $79. With attractive financing terms now locked in, our overall DCF WACC now stands at 6% versus 8% as our preliminary estimate. IREN signs agreement for 800MW data center campus in Australia

IREN Limited (NASDAQ: IREN) announced it signed a transmission connection agreement for an 800MW data center campus in Bundey, South Australia, according to a company press release.

The facility, located approximately 78 miles northeast of Adelaide, represents IREN's first announced Australian data center project. The company secured a high-voltage transmission connection into the utility's substation with four 330kV feeder exits that can support up to 800MW without requiring network upgrades.

IREN expects to begin energization from 2028 and commence early works and procurement alongside regulatory approvals. The project is projected to create more than 200 ongoing skilled jobs and over 500 positions

IREN closes $3.65bn investment-grade GPU financing for Microsoft contract

IREN Limited (NASDAQ: IREN) closed a $3.65 billion investment-grade GPU financing facility to support delivery of its AI Cloud contract with Microsoft, the company announced.

The financing comprises a $2.10 billion U.S. private placement at a fixed rate equivalent to SOFR+2.13% and a $1.55 billion delayed draw term loan at a floating rate of SOFR+2.25%. IREN achieved a blended cost of debt of 6.00% across both components.

The transaction received Fitch and DBRS ratings of A and A(low) respectively. The facility is secured against the GPUs and associated contracted cash flows from the Microsoft agreement.

Combined with customer prepayments, the facility funds $5.59
