ImmunityBio Inc. (NASDAQ: IBRX) announced survey data from UK adults with non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer showing varied treatment preferences following BCG therapy failure. The findings were presented at the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research conference in Philadelphia.

The study, conducted with Fight Bladder Cancer, surveyed 86 UK adults currently receiving or previously treated with Bacillus Calmette-Guérin therapy for high-risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer. Researchers used online questionnaires, interviews and focus groups to examine patient preferences between radical cystectomy and bladder-sparing treatments.

Results showed patients actively receiving BCG were more likely to favor bladder preservation strategies, while those who previously underwent radical cystectomy
