Humacyte (HUMA) PT Raised to $2 at Benchmark

(Updated - June 1, 2026 9:02 AM EDT)

Benchmark analyst Bruce D. Jackson raised the price target on Humacyte (NASDAQ: HUMA) to $2.00 (from $1.00) while maintaining a Speculative Buy rating.

The analyst commented, "Gaining sales traction for Symvess in the vascular trauma market has been challenging, but we are encouraged by the prospects of the dialysis arteriovascular (AV) access indication launching in 2027. In Trauma, a retooled marketing effort and the recently announced VA contract could help in the U.S. market, and we anticipate that a $1.4 million order from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia could be completed later this year

Humacyte presents research on dialysis access vessel self-repair at VASA meeting

Humacyte Inc. (NASDAQ: HUMA) presented research at the Vascular Access Society of the Americas 2026 symposium showing evidence of self-repair in its acellular tissue engineered vessel following repeated needle punctures for dialysis access.

The research examined explanted ATEV and ePTFE samples that had been used for dialysis access for up to 5.5 years. Dialysis patients typically undergo more than 300 needle punctures annually for treatment access.

According to the study, ATEVs maintained structural integrity despite repeated cannulations over the 5.5-year period. The vessels showed smooth muscle cell repopulation at cannulation sites and functional tissue remodeling, including capillary ingrowth and organized collagen deposition.
