FibroBiologics begins phase 1/2 trial for diabetic foot ulcer therapy

FibroBiologics Inc. (NASDAQ: FBLG) announced that it has dosed the first patients in a Phase 1/2 clinical trial evaluating CYWC628 for treating diabetic foot ulcers.

The multicenter, randomized study is being conducted across multiple sites in Australia following approvals from Human Research Ethics Committees and completion of Therapeutics Goods Administration filing requirements. The trial plans to enroll up to 120 patients to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of CYWC628 compared to standard of care alone.
