Investing.com -- U.S. stock futures fell early Tuesday, kicking off a shortened trading week as Wall Street monitored the U.S.-Iran conflict alongside rising trade tensions between Canada and the U.S. Futures tied to the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.8% by 05:30 ET (09:30 GMT). S&P 500 futures fell 0.3% and Nasdaq-100 futures slipped 0.1%. U.S. markets were closed Monday for Labor Day.

Eaton (NYSE: ETN) announced a more than $242 million investment to build a new manufacturing facility in North Little Rock, Arkansas, according to a company press release.

The 1 million-square-foot facility is intended to expand production of customized modular electrical enclosures through the company's Fibrebond business, which Eaton acquired in April 2025. The investment is expected to double Eaton's U.S. manufacturing capacity for that product line, serving data center, utility, industrial and digital communications markets.
