XP Research on Embraer: welcome the improved visibility on deliveries, profitability and cash generation

XP Research analysts on Monday reiterated a Buy rating and $70 price target on Embraer.

The analysts said: "We are updating our estimates for Embraer, reiterating our Buy rating and YE2026 target price of US$70.00/ADS (now R$87.00/sh.). We view 1Q26 results offering a limited read-through to Embraer’s full-year trajectory, given the combined impact of seasonality and non-recurring effects across divisions, driving a marginally negative adjustment to our profitability estimates (EBIT margin -0.2p.p. in 2027-28E). In this context, we believe recent stock performance (EMBJ3 -13% since results) may be placing disproportionate weight on a seasonally softer quarter, whose medium-term implications appear limited.

Embraer in talks with Colombia, Chile for C-390 aircraft orders

Investing.com - Brazilian planemaker Embraer is negotiating with Colombia and Chile for potential orders of its C-390 military transport aircraft as the company increases production to meet rising international demand, CEO Francisco Gomes Neto said.

Brazil currently stands as the only Latin American country operating the aircraft.

Gomes Neto said on Friday that sales campaigns in Latin America typically require more time to complete than in other regions because of budget approvals and procurement processes. He added that Embraer views the C-390 as suitable for both countries.

Embraer S.A. (NYSE: ERJ) delivered 91 aircraft in the fourth quarter of 2025, exceeding the 62 aircraft delivered in the third quarter and 75 aircraft delivered in the fourth quarter of 2024, according to a company statement.

The Brazilian aerospace manufacturer delivered 32 commercial jets during the quarter, including 15 E195-E2 aircraft. Commercial Aviation deliveries surpassed both the third quarter's 20 aircraft and the prior year's fourth quarter total of 31 aircraft. For the full year 2025, Commercial Aviation delivered 78 jets, within the company's guidance range of 77-85 aircraft.

UBS analyst Alberto Valerio upgraded Embraer (NYSE: ERJ) from Sell to Neutral with a price target of $69.00 (from $44.00).

The analyst comments: "We are upgrading Embraer to Neutral from Sell, mainly due to three factors: i) a better-than-expected backlog in the Commercial division over the past 12 months; ii) higher-than-expected margins and pricing; and iii) the incorporation of EVE's current market value into Embraer’s valuation.
