C3is secures $175,000/day charter for Aframax tanker, expands fleet

C3is Inc. (NASDAQ: CISS), an Athens-based ship-owning company, announced it has entered into a voyage charter contract for its Aframax tanker, the Afrapearl II, at a gross charter rate of $175,000 per day on a round voyage basis for a period of 25 days.

The Afrapearl II is a 115,804 deadweight ton (DWT) Aframax oil tanker built in 2010.

The company also reported that it took delivery of its second MR product tanker in the third quarter of 2026, bringing its total fleet capacity to 311,431 DWT. C3is now owns six vessels: three Handysize dry bulk carriers totaling 97,664 DWT, one Aframax

ATHENS, Greece, Oct. 12, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- C3is Inc. (Nasdaq: CISS) (the “Company”), a ship-owning company providing drybulk, crude oil and petroleum products seaborne transportation services, announced today that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has entered into a new Voyage Charter contract for its Aframax tanker, the Afrapearl II.

The gross charter rate is US$175,000 per day on a round voyage basis, for a period of 25 days.

The Afrapearl II is a 115,804 DWT Aframax Oil Tanker, built in 2010.

In addition, the Company took delivery of its second MR Product Tanker
