Cemtrex, Inc. (NASDAQ: CETX, CETXP) announced that its Advanced Industrial Services subsidiary has acquired Plant Engineering Services, a Fort Wayne, Indiana-based engineering firm specializing in the design, modernization, and relocation of large hydraulic and mechanical press systems and complex manufacturing equipment.

The asset purchase transaction was valued at approximately $3.5 million in cash, with up to an additional $1.5 million in earnout consideration tied to performance over three years following closing. Cemtrex funded the acquisition using cash on hand.

Vicon Industries, a subsidiary of Cemtrex Inc. (NASDAQ: CETX, CETXP), secured an approximately $2 million order to deploy security technology at a correctional facility in the United Kingdom, according to a company statement.

The order was placed through an international fire and security integration partner and includes Vicon's Valerus recording servers, client workstations, enterprise video management software licenses, and various fixed, dome, and PTZ cameras for surveillance coverage across the facility.

The company did not disclose the names of the end customer or integration partner, citing engagement terms. The order is expected to ship in the current quarter.
