CANEX Metals raises C$6.5M, with C$3M from largest shareholder

CANEX Metals Inc. (TSXV: CANX) announced a C$6.5 million non-brokered private placement financing, with N. Eric Fier, the company's largest shareholder, contributing C$3 million of the total raise.

The financing consists of up to 14,285,714 common shares at C$0.35 per share for proceeds of up to C$5 million, and up to 2,777,778 Charity Flow-Through shares at C$0.54 per share for proceeds of up to C$1.5 million. Securities issued will be subject to a hold period of four months plus one day from closing. The financing is subject to TSX Venture Exchange and regulatory approval.
