Corporación América Airports reports 4.1% traffic drop in June

Corporación América Airports S.A. (NYSE: CAAP) reported a 4.1% year-over-year decrease in total passenger traffic in June 2026, according to a press release from the Luxembourg-based company.

Total passengers across the company's network fell to approximately 6.6 million from 6.9 million in June 2025. Domestic traffic declined 12.5% year over year, while international traffic rose 2.8%. The company cited the FIFA World Cup as a temporary factor that dampened leisure and business travel during the month.

Corporación América Airports S.A. (NYSE: CAAP) announced that its subsidiary, Inframerica Concessionária do Aeroporto de Brasília S.A., has signed a Transition Amendment Agreement (TAA) with Brazil's Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC), altering the terms of the Brasília Airport concession.

The TAA was approved by the Brazilian Federal Court in April 2026 and was reached through negotiations involving ANAC, the Ministry of Ports and Airports, and the Federal Court of Accounts.
