Serapha Bio, Inc., a clinical-stage genetic medicines company focused on alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency (AATD), has appointed Kenneth T. Mills as Chief Executive Officer and a member of its Board of Directors, along with four additional senior executives.

Daphne Karydas has been named President and Chief Financial Officer, Weston Miller, MD, as Chief Medical Officer, Nina Hunter, PhD, as Chief Development Officer, and Shiva G. Fritsch as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, according to a company statement.

Mills previously served as founding President and CEO of REGENXBIO, where he led the company's 2015 IPO, and most recently as President, CEO and director of Tagworks
