Boliden agrees to buy Votorantim's stake in Nexa Resources

Boliden AB has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Votorantim S.A.'s entire shareholding in Nexa Resources S.A., a zinc and silver producer with operations in Brazil and Peru, according to a press release from the Swedish mining company.

Under the terms of the deal, Votorantim will receive 0.250 newly issued Boliden shares for each Nexa share it holds, giving Boliden a 64.68% controlling stake in Nexa. Votorantim will in turn hold approximately 7.0% of Boliden's shares and votes, with the right to propose a representative to Boliden's board of directors.
