Surge Digital completes name change and 7-for-1 share consolidation

Surge Digital Inc. (TSXV: SRGE) (OTCQB: BBKCD) completed a corporate name change and a seven-for-one share consolidation effective August 26, 2026, according to a press release from the Vancouver, British Columbia-based company.

The company, formerly operating under a different name, received final acceptance from the TSX Venture Exchange on August 24, 2026 for both the name change and the consolidation. The board of directors approved both actions under the company's articles and British Columbia's Business Corporations Act, without requiring shareholder approval.

The consolidation reduced the company's outstanding common shares from 355,780,820 to 50,825,782. The shares began trading on the TSX Venture Exchange
