Granite Construction (NYSE: GVA) reported Q3 EPS of $0.38, $0.59 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.97. Revenue for the quarter came in at $719.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $906.93 million.

Granite continues to expect improved gross profit in 2014 and consolidated EBITDA margin of 5 percent to 7 percent. Consolidated revenues for 2014 are expected to finish at the bottom of the previously announced $2.4 to $2.8 billion range.
