Steelcase Inc. (NYSE: SCS) reported Q2 EPS of $0.27, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.23. Revenue for the quarter came in at $786.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $784.47 million.

Steelcase Inc. sees Q3 2014 EPS of $0.24 - $0.28, versus the consensus of $0.26. Steelcase also sees Q3 2014 revenue of $810 - $835 million, versus the consensus of $826.97 million.

"We were very pleased with the rebound in Americas performance compared to the prior quarter," said Jim Keane, president and CEO. "This strong performance in the Americas, driven again by strong project business, helped to offset the losses in EMEA, where our teams continue to implement the required business model changes in Europe."
