Taser International (TASR) Adds to Gains on Police Body Cam Wins
Taser International (NASDAQ: TASR) is adding to after-hours gains after being one of two companies selected for the NYPD body cam pilot program.
Also benefiting the stock is news that Washington DC police will roll-out a test of its police body cams program soon with equipment purchased from three companies. According to the Washington Times, "Five sets of cameras were purchased by police in batches of 84 from Seattle-based VIEVU LLC, Los Angeles-based Wolfcom Enterprises and Scottsdale, Arizona-based TASER International Inc."
Shares of TASER last traded at $19 in pre-open trading, up 8.3%.
