NXP Semiconductors N.V. (NASDAQ: NXPI) reported Q2 EPS of $1.09, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $1.05. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.35 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.33 billion.

NXP Semiconductors N.V. sees Q3 2014 EPS of $1.25-$1.35, versus the consensus of $1.20. NXP Semiconductors N.V. sees Q3 2014 revenue of $1.471-1.522 billion, versus the consensus of $1.41 billion.

"Our top-line results for the second quarter of 2014 were very good and in-line with the high-end of our guidance, as total NXP revenue in the second quarter was $1,349 million, a 14 percent increase year-on-year, and an 8 percent sequential improvement, a reflection of strong seasonal performance across the entire portfolio," said Richard Clemmer, NXP Chief Executive Officer.
