Plug Power (Nasdaq: PLUG) and FuelCell Energy (Nasdaq: FCEL) are active Tuesday morning following quarterly results from segment peer, Ballard Power Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: BLDP).

Ahead of the bell, Ballard posted Q1 loss of $.03 per share, narrower than a loss of $.04 per share expected by Wall Street analysts. Revenue of $14 million was about 11 percent below expectations.

Looking ahead, Ballard also affirmed 30 percent FY14 revenue growth guidance and break even adjusted EBITDA.

Shares of Ballard are down over 4 percent, FuelCell is off 1.8 percent, and Plug Power is 1.7 percent positive.
