Carters, Inc. (CRI) Tops Q1 EPS by 2c; Guides Q2, FY14
Carters, Inc. (NYSE: CRI) reported Q1 EPS of $0.73, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.71. Revenue for the quarter came in at $652 million versus the consensus estimate of $649.57 million.
Carters sees Q2 2014 EPS of $0.46, versus the consensus of $0.49.
For fiscal 2014, the Company projects net sales to increase approximately 8% to 10% over fiscal 2013 and adjusted diluted earnings per share to increase approximately 12% to 15% compared to adjusted diluted earnings per share of $3.37 in fiscal 2013.
