Acacia Research (ACTG), Biomet Enter Patent Settlement, License
Acacia Research Corporation (Nasdaq: ACTG) announced today that its Bonutti Skeletal Innovations LLC subsidiary has entered into a settlement and patent license agreement with Biomet, Inc., Biomet Sports Medicine, LLC, Biomet Manufacturing, LLC (formerly doing business as Biomet Manufacturing Corp.) The agreement resolves litigation pertaining to suture anchors and platelet concentration that was pending in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.
