voxeljet (VJET) Sinks as Jefferies Takes an Axe to Numbers
voxeljet AG (NYSE: VJET) is lower today (-3.3%) in response to Jefferies slashing numbers on the 3D printing concern following recent fourth quarter results
Jefferies analyst Peter Misek cut his price target from $40 to $27, cut Q1 EPS from €0.00 to (€0.68), FY 2014 from €0.05 to (€2.23) and FY 2015 from €0.11 to (€3.13).
Misek notes, "VJET reported solid revenues but much higher costs. 2014 revenue guidance was solid with GM guidance inline with us but below consensus; however, mgmt would not comment about 2014 opex, which looks to be far higher than consensus was expecting. While VJET's technology is exciting, the valuation is the highest in the group and discounts much of the excitement."
