Microsoft (MSFT) Windows Phone Still Big in Several European Markets
Microsoft's (Nasdaq: MSFT) Windows Phone (WP) platform is still rolling strong in Q4.
Early numbers from research firm Kantar ComTech have the following market share results for certain European markets in the three-month period ending November 2013.
U.K. from 11.9 percent in October to 10.6 percent.
Germany saw a slight dip from 6.3 percent to 5.6 percent.
Italy at 15.6 percent.
U.S. rather solid at 4.6 percent.
China from 3.5 percent down to 2.6 percent.
Shares of Microsoft are down slightly at the start Friday.
