Wendy's (WEN) Tops Q3 EPS by 2c; Boosts FY13 EPS Outlook
Wendy's (NASDAQ: WEN) reported Q3 EPS of $0.08, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.06. Revenue for the quarter came in at $640.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $645.44 million.
Wendy's® North America Company-operated restaurants generated a same-store sales increase of 3.2 percent, compared to 2.7 percent last year. Franchise same-store sales in North America increased 3.1 percent, compared to 2.9 percent last year.
Wendy's sees FY2013 EPS of $0.25, versus the consensus of $0.23.
