Tesla (TSLA) Hopes to 'Supercharge' Shares Again Later This Week
Tesla Motors (Nasdaq: TSLA) is up again Monday as sentiment behind the name continues to ramp.
Over the weekend, CEO Elon Musk posted a few messages to his official Twitter account. Submitted on May 11th were the following posts:
Later this week, Tesla is expected to unveil more details of its Supercharger program, which might be what the first comment relates to. Many have said that a more-robust battery pack and/or charger are the next biggest challenges for Tesla.
An announcement this week would put Tesla in the driver seat for grabbing the most investor attention possible over the last month or two. In April, the company announced a new financing plan (which it modified in May) and also announced its goal of providing the best customer service network possible.
Tesla stock is up 6.2 percent Monday morning.
