Goldman Sachs maintained a Sell rating on The Children's Place (NASDAQ: PLCE) and lowered its price target to $39.00 (from $40.00). The company reported Q4 results yesterday.
Commenting on developments, analyst Taposh Bari said, "The weak start to the quarter reinforces our belief that PLCE is disproportionately vulnerable to various factors – this time weather. While the pillars of PLCE's turnaround story have merit individually, the likelihood of all coinciding with an accommodative macro environment appears very low, in our opinion."
