Goldman Sachs Maintains Sell on Boyd Gaming (BYD)
This morning Boyd Gaming Corp. (NYSE: BYD) reported Q4 EPS of ($0.31), $0.18 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.13). Revenue for the quarter came in at $625.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $635.37 million.
Commenting on the news, Goldman Sachs analyst Steven Kent said, "While Boyd's Vegas assets came in slightly ahead of our expectations ($41mn vs. $36mn), they were more than offset by the miss versus our expectations in the Midwest/South segment ($56mn vs. $69mn) and in Atlantic City ($14mn vs. $28mn). These trends highlight the crux of our Sell rating on Boyd."
Goldman Sachs has a Sell rating on Boyd Gaming with a price target of $5.50.
