AutoZone, Inc. (NYSE: AZO) reported Q1 EPS of $5.41, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $5.39. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.02 billion.
Domestic same store sales, or sales for stores open at least one year, increased 0.2% for the quarter.
Additionally, AutoZone announces this morning that it has entered into a definitive agreement to purchase the assets and select liabilities of AutoAnything, an online retailer of specialized automotive products.
