- Rentech, Inc. (AMEX: RTK) high of $2.79. Rentech getting a push higher after announcing its majority-owned subsidiary, Rentech Nitrogen Partners, L.P. (NYSE: RNF), has entered into a definitive agreement with Agrifos Holdings Inc. to purchase all of the membership interests of Agrifos LLC, for an initial purchase price of $158 million.

- Baxter International Inc. (NYSE: BAX) high of $63.98. Baxter trading higher after announcing an exclusive 20-year partnership with Hemobrás (Empresa Brasileira de Hemoderivados e Biotechnologia) to provide hemophilia patients in Brazil greater access to recombinant factor VIII (rFVIII) therapy for the treatment of hemophilia A.
