- UBS AG (NYSE: UBS) $15.06. On Tuesday, UBS announced "a significant acceleration in the implementation of its strategy to transform the firm and create the UBS of the future. Building on the progress it has made in the last 12 months, UBS will achieve this transformation by further sharpening its focus in the Investment Bank. By concentrating on its traditional strengths in advisory, research, equities, FX and precious metals and by exiting business lines, predominantly those in fixed income that have been rendered uneconomical by changes in regulation and market developments, UBS will reduce costs significantly while driving further efficiencies across the Group more rapidly."
- Yamana Gold, Inc. (NYSE: AUY) high of $20.03. Yamana reported in-line Q3 EPS of 24 cents on Monday, while revs were a little light.
- Commault Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: CVLT) high of $66.00. Moving to a new high after reporting second-quarter results on Monday. EPS was 38 cents, beating views by 10 cents. The Board approved a $50 million increase to its buyback plan.
- Generac Holdings (NYSE: GNRC) high of $34.63. Generac moving to a new 52-week high following strong third-quarter results reported today. Along with beating EPS views by 7 cents, the company raised its outlook for FY12 EPS from $2.65 to $2.70, up to a new range of $2.95 to $3.00. The Street is at $2.66.
- Western Union (NYSE: WU) low of $12.48. Western Union slammed on its cut EPS outlook for 2012. From EPS of $1.73 to $1.77, the company now expects EPS of $1.65 to $1.68, while the Street was at $1.76. Shares down over 30 percent to the new mark.
- Actuate Corp. (Nasdaq: BIRT) low of $5.26. Actuate missed Q3 EPS by 3 cents on Monday. Shares are reacting today.
