Johnson Controls, Inc. (JCI) Tops Q4 EPS by 2c; Sees FY13 EPS Flat to Slightly Higher Over FY12
Johnson Controls, Inc. (NYSE: JCI) reported Q4 EPS of $0.77, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.75. Revenue for the quarter came in at $10.4 billion versus the consensus estimate of $10.84 billion.
The company expects 2013 first-half earnings to be significantly lower than the same period of 2012 with higher year-over-year earnings in the second half of the year. It added that it believes the financial benefits of the restructuring announced in the current quarter will begin to accrue in the second half of fiscal 2013. The company expects full-year 2013 earnings to be flat to slightly higher than 2012.
