Gentex Corp (NASDAQ: GNTX) reported Q4 EPS of $0.28, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.30. Revenue for the quarter came in at $260.35 million versus the consensus estimate of $273.15 million.
The company said, "Our estimate for net sales for the first quarter of 2012 is an increase of approximately 15-20 percent compared with the same quarter in 2011, based on IHS's January 2012 forecast for light vehicle production levels."
