Halliburton Co. (NYSE: HAL) reported Q3 EPS of $0.94, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.92. Revenue for the quarter came in at $6.55 billion versus the consensus estimate of $6.39 billion.

The quarterly profit was up 16 percent compared to second quarter earnings. Diluted net income rose about 23 percent. Sales rose more than 40 percent from the $4.665 billion issued during the same quarter last year.
