Kennametal, Inc. (KMT) Tops Q4 EPS by 13c, Posts FY12 Guidance, Declares 12c Dividend
Kennametal, Inc. (NYSE: KMT) reported Q4 adjusted EPS of $1.11, $0.13 better than the analyst estimate of $0.98. Revenue for the quarter came in at $693.74 million versus the consensus estimate of $672.62 million.
Kennametal, Inc. sees FY2012 EPS of $3.5-$3.8, versus the consensus of $3.54. Kennametal, Inc. sees FY2012 organic sales growth to be 10 percent to 12 percent compared with fiscal 2011, and total sales growth to be 9 percent to 11 percent. Cash flow from operating activities is expected to be in the range of approximately $360 million to $380 million for fiscal 2012. The company expects to generate between $260 million to $280 million of free operating cash flow for the full fiscal year.
Kennametal also announced that its Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.12 per share. The dividend is payable August 24, 2011 to shareowners of record as of the close of business on August 9, 2011.
