Tupperware Brands Corp. (TUP) Tops Q2 EPS by 7c; Raises FY11 Outlook

Tupperware Brands Corp. (NYSE: TUP) reported Q2 EPS of $1.25, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $1.18. Revenue for the quarter came in at $669.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $647.57 million.

Tupperware Brands Corp. sees Q3 EPS of $0.79-$0.84, versus the consensus of $0.84. The third quarter sales outlook is for an increase of 7 to 9% in local currency.

Tupperware Brands Corp. sees FY2011 EPS of $4.50-$4.50, versus the consensus of $4.56. Prior guidance was for $4.45-$4.55. Full year 2011 sales are expected to increase in local currency versus 2010 by 7 to 9%.
