Dollar General (DG) Misses Q1 EPS by 2c; Reaffirms FY11 Guidance

Dollar General (NYSE: DG) reported Q1 adjusted EPS of $0.48, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.50. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.45 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.42 billion.

Same-Store Sales Increased 5.4%.

Reaffirms outlook: sees FY2011 EPS of $2.20-$2.30, vs. the consensus of $2.26.
