Yum! Brands, Inc. (NYSE: YUM) reports Q3 EPS of $0.73, ex-items, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.72. Revenue for the quarter was $2.86 billion, which compares to the estimate of $2.87 billion.

Comps up 1%. Same-store sales in China rose 6%.

Raises its FY10 growth guidance from 12% to 14% (or from $2.43 to $2.48). The Street is currently looking for FY10 EPS of $2.48. Expects to open 1,400 international new units this year.
