BMO Capital on Cal-Maine Foods (CALM): 'remain cautious given the current oversupplied environment.'
BMO Capital analyst Benjamin Mayhew reiterated a Market Perform rating and $75.00 price target on Cal-Maine Foods (NASDAQ: CALM).
The analyst comments "We hosted CALM CEO, Sherman Miller, CSO, Keira Lombardo and CFO Prepared Foods, John Zoeller for a non-deal roadshow in New York. We come away incrementally more constructive on the outlook for CALM, particularly at current share price levels (1.1-1.2x BV) as we begin to see an increasingly clear pathway to more balanced egg industry supply/demand with two main avenues to get there: 1) negative economics force production adjustments, or 2) HPAI reaccelerates. We're potentially seeing signs of both but remain cautious given the current oversupplied environment."
