Figure Technology Solutions hits $500M annualized SMB lending volume

Figure Technology Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: FIGR) announced that its small business financing operation funded more than $50 million in September 2026 and $135 million in the third quarter of 2026, bringing annualized volume above $500 million.

The company launched its small business financing vertical in June 2025, offering home equity lines of credit (HELOCs) for business purposes through its blockchain-based infrastructure. Figure states that its annualized funded loan volume would place its partner ecosystem among the top 25 SBA 7(a) lenders by approved dollar volume, though Figure does not make SBA loans and the comparison reflects funded rather than approved volume.

The lending program has grown to more than 150 broker, lending, and fintech partners, including Lendio, Big Think Capital, and SBG. Partners originate loans under their own brands using Figure's technology platform, which the company says can approve applications in as few as five minutes and fund loans within five days. Loans reach up to $750,000 with terms of up to 30 years.

Newity recently joined Figure's partner network and plans to use Figure Connect, a two-sided marketplace where originators sell whole loans to institutional buyers. "Figure's ecosystem lets us pair strong origination support with direct access to capital markets," said Luke LaHaie, Co-CEO of Newity.

Michael Tannenbaum, CEO of Figure, said the product targets small business owners who are "well-qualified borrowers with significant assets who don't fit the traditional underwriting box." He noted that nearly seven in 10 small business owners also own their homes, making home equity a potential financing source.

Figure and its partners have collectively originated more than $30 billion in loans across all products since the company's founding. The small business financing figures are based on a press release issued by the company.
