Euronet launches OLON commerce platform, starting in Greece
Euronet Worldwide (NASDAQ: EEFT) announced the launch of OLON, a commerce platform designed to combine payment processing, business application integrations and value-added services for merchants, according to a company statement.
The platform is structured around three components: payments, commerce and growth. It supports payment acceptance across physical and digital channels, including card schemes, digital wallets, account-to-account payments and local payment methods. Additional services include tax-free shopping, foreign exchange solutions, bill payments, digital wallets, meal vouchers and digital product distribution.
Greece will be the first market to receive a full deployment of OLON, covering approximately 225,000 merchants across 300,000 physical points of sale and 7,000 online shops. Euronet said the platform is also being developed for Germany and other Southern European markets. The company currently has a merchant services presence in more than 15 European countries.

Nikos Fountas, EVP and CEO Payments Infrastructure Americas and EMEA, said: "OLON reflects our ambition to go beyond payment acceptance and create a broader commerce ecosystem that brings together the capabilities merchants need to operate, engage their customers and grow."
The platform uses a modular design intended to allow merchants to add services over time. Integrations are planned across enterprise resource planning, electronic cash register, invoicing, fiscal, retail, hospitality, restaurant, booking and ticketing systems.
Euronet reported processing more than 20 billion transactions across its network in 2025 and operates in more than 200 countries and territories.
