Supermicro raises Q1 FY2027 revenue outlook on AI demand
Super Micro Computer, Inc. (NASDAQ: SMCI) issued preliminary financial results for its first quarter of fiscal year 2027, ended September 30, 2026, showing revenue and gross margin estimates above prior guidance.
The company estimates revenue in the range of $18.5 billion to $19.5 billion for the quarter, compared with guidance of $14.5 billion to $15.5 billion. Supermicro attributed the increase primarily to higher demand for AI platforms.
Gross margins are estimated at 12.0% to 12.5%, above the prior guidance range of 10.4% to 10.8%, which the company said was primarily due to customer and product mix.

The figures are unaudited and based on preliminary management estimates. Supermicro noted that actual results may differ materially and that its independent auditor has not reviewed or audited the preliminary data. Final results will be subject to the company's standard financial closing procedures.
Supermicro is scheduled to hold an earnings conference call on November 3, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. ET to review its first quarter fiscal 2027 financial results.
