Safe Harbor Financial gets 180-day Nasdaq extension to meet bid price rule

October 20, 2026 4:15 PM

SHF Holdings, Inc., doing business as Safe Harbor Financial (NASDAQ: SHFS), has received an additional 180-day compliance period from Nasdaq to meet the exchange's minimum bid price requirement, according to a company statement.

Nasdaq granted the extension, giving the company until April 19, 2027, to bring its stock price back above the $1.00 per share minimum required under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2). The company was first notified of the deficiency on April 22, 2026, and was given an initial 180-day period through October 19, 2026 to regain compliance.

Nasdaq approved the second compliance period after determining the company met continued listing requirements for market value of publicly held shares and all other applicable initial listing standards, with the exception of the bid price rule.

Safe Harbor notified Nasdaq of its intention to cure the deficiency, including through a reverse stock split if necessary. The company's common stock will continue to trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol SHFS.

To regain compliance, the closing bid price of Safe Harbor's shares must remain at or above $1.00 for at least 10 consecutive business days during the compliance period.

"We are committed to meeting Nasdaq's listing requirements and are exploring multiple strategies to regain compliance," said Terrance Mendez, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Safe Harbor.
