Braskem deploys Rockwell Automation cybersecurity platform across 39 sites
Braskem, a petrochemical company with industrial units in Brazil, the United States, Mexico, and Germany, has deployed Rockwell Automation's (NYSE: ROK) SecureOT Platform across more than 39 global facilities to manage operational technology cybersecurity risks, according to a press release from Rockwell Automation.
Within the first eight months of deployment, Braskem catalogued more than 3,000 OT assets, achieved 100% project preparation, and reached 95% infrastructure readiness. The platform provides asset inventory management, vulnerability remediation prioritization, and compliance reporting capabilities.
"One of the biggest challenges in OT cybersecurity is knowing exactly what is connected to your environment and understanding where your risks exist," said Arron Nelson, industrial cybersecurity and infrastructure specialist at Braskem. "SecureOT gives us a stronger understanding of our OT assets and helps us take a more proactive approach to securing critical operations."

Rick Kaun, global director of cybersecurity services at Rockwell Automation, said the platform integrates asset visibility, vulnerability management, and managed detection services into a single vendor-neutral framework.
Braskem operates nearly 8,000 employees and markets products to clients in more than 70 countries. Rockwell Automation employs approximately 26,000 people across more than 100 countries.
