Hilton to move stock listing from NYSE to Nasdaq in 2026
Hilton (NYSE: HLT) announced plans to transfer its common stock listing from the New York Stock Exchange to Nasdaq, with trading on the new exchange set to begin at market open on Nov. 5, 2026, under its existing ticker symbol HLT.
Hilton shares will continue to trade on the NYSE through market close on Nov. 4, 2026. The company said no action is required by shareholders in connection with the transfer, and the move does not alter its business strategy or capital allocation priorities.
Chris Nassetta, president and chief executive officer of Hilton, cited alignment with the company's growth ambitions as a reason for the move. "Nasdaq is closely aligned with our growth ambitions, and we look forward to joining a marketplace that is highly respected as the home of many of the world's most innovative companies," he said.

Adena Friedman, chair and chief executive officer of Nasdaq, said the exchange is "proud to welcome Hilton to Nasdaq" and looks forward to supporting the company.
Hilton has a long history with the NYSE, having become the first hotel company listed on the exchange in 1946. The company returned to public markets in 2013 after being privately held by Blackstone Inc.
Since its 2013 return to public markets, Hilton has grown from 10 brands and approximately 4,100 hotels across 90 countries and territories to 28 brands and more than 9,400 properties across 144 countries and territories. The company's Hilton Honors loyalty program has grown to more than 260 million members globally.
