Huntington Bank launches AI small business platform with Google Cloud
Huntington National Bank announced The 1866 Studio, an AI-powered platform for small business owners built using Google Cloud's Gemini platform, with early access sign-ups opening Oct. 19, 2026.
The platform is designed to combine financial, operational and business management tools into a single interface. It uses agentic AI workflows to assist business owners with tasks including entity registration, marketing content creation and loan readiness evaluation.
According to the announcement, The 1866 Studio is open to any small business owner or entrepreneur, not only existing Huntington customers.
Brant Standridge, president of Huntington Bank, said the platform brings together the bank's expertise and Google's Gemini platform "to help owners make more informed decisions and spend more time building the businesses they imagined."

Vijay Konduru, head of innovation and AI products at Huntington, described the platform as intended to "support the full range of those jobs across the business lifecycle, from turning an idea into a business to running and growing it, and ultimately preparing for succession, sale or exit."
Rohit Bhat, general manager and managing director of financial services at Google Cloud, said the platform helps small business owners "move from information to action."
The 1866 Studio is an extension of a multi-year partnership between Huntington and Google Cloud. Huntington Bancshares Incorporated (NASDAQ: HBAN) is a $284 billion asset regional bank holding company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, operating over 1,400 branches across 21 states.
