Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META) released Muse Spark Open, described as the open-weights version of its Muse Spark model, according to a company statement.

The model features an 816-billion-parameter sparse mixture-of-experts architecture that activates approximately 42 billion parameters per token.

Meta said Muse Spark Open brings agentic capabilities to desktop for the first time on Apple M5 Ultra Mac Studios. The model is available through API platforms including Baseten, Fireworks AI, Groq, Modal, Nebius, OpenRouter, and Together AI.

Model weights are available for download on Amazon SageMaker AI, Google Cloud Model Garden, Hugging Face, and Microsoft Foundry Models.

Meta is releasing the weights under its Muse Model License with limited commercial terms, which the company said allows many developers to use the model at no cost.
