Adobe and Nvidia expand partnership to boost AI creative tools
Adobe (Nasdaq: ADBE) and Nvidia (Nasdaq: NVDA) announced an expansion of their partnership to optimize several Adobe applications, including Photoshop, Premiere, Substance 3D, Frame.io and Brand Concierge, according to a company press release.
Adobe is integrating the Nvidia RTX Spark superchip into Photoshop, Premiere and Substance 3D. The companies say the optimized applications deliver up to 2x faster AI processing, editing, color and effects compared to non-optimized configurations. Adobe rearchitected Photoshop around GPU-accelerated compositing, while Premiere gains RTX acceleration for playback, rendering, effects and AI-powered tools such as Enhance Speech and Object Mask.
For Frame.io, Adobe is using Nvidia accelerated computing to speed cloud media processing. Early performance results from selected Frame.io workloads show approximately 5x faster embedding generation, a 4-5x improvement in P95 processing latency, and an approximately 80% smaller search proxy. The updated pipeline uses Nvidia NVDEC for hardware-accelerated decoding and Nvidia TensorRT with CUDA for content preprocessing.

Adobe Brand Concierge has been optimized using Nvidia Nemotron open models, with availability to enterprise customers expected later this year. Nvidia has also selected Brand Concierge to power customer interactions on its own website.
The expanded collaboration builds on a strategic partnership the two companies announced in March, which covers creative and marketing workflows across video, images, 3D and other media. Adobe and Nvidia plan to showcase developments at Adobe MAX, scheduled for Nov. 10-12.
