Bridger Aerospace Group Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: BAER, BAERW) has been awarded a 220-day task order by the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) to provide air attack flight services in support of the U.S. Wildland Fire Service during the 2027 wildfire season.

The task order carries a minimum guaranteed value of approximately $5.3 million and was issued under Bridger's existing contract with the DOI. The exclusive-use period is anticipated to begin around March 1, 2027, and run through early October 2027, with an option to extend by mutual agreement.

Under the task order, Bridger will deploy its King Air 350 aircraft, which is equipped with Blackhawk engine upgrades, Garmin avionics, dual sensor systems, and Wide Area Motion Imagery (WAMI) technology paired with an MX-15 electro-optical/infrared sensor. The aircraft was previously deployed this summer under a 112-day DOI task order following modifications at Bridger's FAA-certified repair station.

"This award gives us the opportunity to put our people, aircraft, and intelligence capabilities to work for the Bureau of Indian Affairs across more of the 2027 wildfire season," said Sam Davis, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bridger Aerospace.

Bridger Aerospace is based in Belgrade, Montana, and provides aerial firefighting and wildfire management services to federal and state government agencies.
