Redwire lands $13.8M National Guard drone order

October 15, 2026 7:04 AM

Redwire Corporation (NYSE: RDW) announced it has received purchase orders valued at approximately $13.8 million to deliver its Stalker Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) to the National Guard Bureau.

The Stalker is a long-range, Group 2 UAS that will be used to train National Guard soldiers on flight operations, field maintenance, and multi-mission payload deployment. Training will take place at Camp Shelby, Mississippi and Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania.

The systems will support instruction tied to the U.S. Army's 15X Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), designated the Tactical UAS Specialist. The 15X MOS combines the roles of UAS operator and maintainer into a single position. Soldiers trained under this program are expected to operate within maneuver formations and handle Group 1 through Group 3 UAS systems in the field.

"As the threat environment evolves so do mission requirements, and the National Guard requires versatile operators who are trained on combat proven aircraft that are ready to field," said Joshua Stinson, Co-President and Chief Growth Officer at Redwire Defense Tech.

According to the company's press release, the Stalker platform is designed for modular, multi-mission use and is intended to replicate operational conditions soldiers may encounter when embedded in brigade and lower-level maneuver units.
