Zuckerberg's awkward beer sip goes viral on podcast
Investing.com -- Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg became the subject of online attention this week after a video clip showed him making an unusual facial expression while drinking Guinness during a podcast appearance.
The 42-year-old appeared on "Cheeky Pint," a podcast hosted by Stripe co-founder John Collison, alongside Meta AI executive Alexandr Wang. In the clip, Zuckerberg took a sip of the Irish stout and made a face that viewers compared to various unpleasant experiences.
The moment placed Zuckerberg among other executives who have had awkward public eating and drinking moments, including a McDonald's CEO who struggled with his own company's burger.

"That's just my face," Zuckerberg wrote on Twitter Tuesday, his first comment on the viral clip.
Zuckerberg brought a keg of Guinness from Dublin to the podcast recording. According to Tyler Cosgrove of TBPN, who tracks consumption on "Cheeky Pint" interviews, Zuckerberg finished nearly one and a half pints by the episode's end, more than both Wang and Collison.
The Meta CEO has previously attempted to connect with the public through various activities including running, bowhunting, and mixed-martial arts. His friendship with UFC boss Dana White led to White joining Meta's board.
