VisionWave discloses AI orchestration system still in development
VisionWave Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: VWAV) announced it is developing Stratum AI, an agentic artificial intelligence architecture intended to coordinate autonomous systems, sensors and mission workflows across defense, homeland security and commercial applications.
According to a company statement, Stratum AI is being built alongside a separate system called STRATUM Command, which is also designed to provide AI-enabled sensing and situational awareness. Neither product is commercially available, neither has generated revenue, and neither has undergone independent third-party testing or validation.
The company describes the architecture around three functions: mission orchestration, sensor fusion and autonomy orchestration. VisionWave states its longer-term objective is a system built around one operator, one operating picture and multiple autonomous domains, though it acknowledged that objective has not been achieved.

Stratum AI is intended to connect with other technologies in the company's portfolio, including SDNN, described as a deep neural network concept for fusing data from unmanned ground vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles, satellites and sensors, and qSpeed, a computational-acceleration architecture targeting latency reduction in applications such as fire control and counter-drone systems. Both remain under development, are not commercially available and have not generated revenue.
"Autonomy is ultimately an intelligence problem, not simply a vehicle problem," said Douglas Davis, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chairman of VisionWave.
VisionWave disclosed in its forward-looking statements that the company has a history of operating losses and that substantial doubt regarding its ability to continue as a going concern was described in its most recent periodic report. The company also noted its dependence on government procurement processes that have not yet resulted in any contract or order.
